1. Extra-large working area, 830 × 800 mm
With a footprint of 980 × 1000 mm, the Sculpfun S40 MAX is ideally suited for particularly large materials. The generous working area of ​​830 × 800 mm allows for the processing of large objects and meets a wide range of requirements. The maximum marking speed is up to 36,000 mm/min – ideal for large-area cutting and serial engraving in workshops, for hobbyists and professionals alike.

2. Ultra-powerful 48W laser
The S40 MAX uses twelve 6W semiconductor laser diodes with a maximum chip power of up to 48W. This high power output ensures maximum efficiency. At 100% power and with the included 50L high-flow air pump, it can cut, for example, 20mm plywood or 6mm dark acrylic in a single pass.

3. Strong cutting performance
Thanks to modern fiber optic spot compression technology, the laser achieves an extremely fine spot of 0.154 × 0.121 mm. The LightBurn software supports Z-axis offset and step-by-step lowering during cutting – for a flat cut surface and significantly reduced burn marks.

4. Autofocus function
With just one touch of a button, the S40 MAX automatically performs the focusing. Combined with the integrated cross-positioning system, this significantly speeds up setup. Furthermore, the laser features lens detection, which prompts replacement when the lens becomes dirty, ensuring consistently high performance.

5. Stable construction
Equipped with four feet and mounting points, the S40 MAX utilizes a modern three-axis triple-roller system. This ensures fast, smooth movements and low noise levels – even during intensive engraving and cutting operations.

6. Offline operation
The included TS1 touchscreen allows operation without a computer. After pre-importing files, the machine works completely offline. Additionally, a connection to the Sculpfun app can be established via Wi-Fi, enabling convenient preparation via smartphone.

7. Safety features
The S40 MAX is equipped with several protection systems: tilt sensor, flame sensor, emergency stop switch, safety interlock and OD4+ certified laser safety glasses – for maximum user safety.

8. Compatible with extensive accessories
Various optional accessories are available for the S40 MAX – such as an 800 × 800 mm honeycomb base plate, the B70 protective housing or the SP1 smoke filter – to improve working comfort and safety.

Note: Accessories must be purchased separately. The IR-2 laser head is not directly compatible with the S40 Max.
