The QIDI Q2 and QIDI Q2C offer powerful CoreXY 3D printing in a compact format – ideal for makers, ambitious hobbyists, small workshops and professional users who need reliable results and a wide range of materials.
Both models offer:
- CoreXY mechanics for precise movements
- High-throughput direct extruder
- up to 600 mm/s printing speed and 20,000 mm/s² acceleration
- heated print bed up to 120 °C
- AI camera for fault detection / timelapse (Q2 only)
- 3-in-1 air filtration (Q2C: extraction + filter optional)
- Compact footprint, yet large print volume: 270 × 270 × 256 mm
This makes Q2 and Q2C perfectly suited for functional components, ABS/ASA applications, PA, PC or fiber-reinforced materials — materials that cause problems for many hobby printers.
Differences between Q2 and Q2C
The Q2C version is a modernized, slightly lighter-equipped variant of the Q2 and is aimed at anyone who wants a high-performance printer at a more attractive entry price.
The Q2 is the “premium version” with a more powerful hot chamber, more robust extruder configuration and extended hotend.
Combo versions of both models are also available:
Q2 Combo / Q2C Combo = Printer incl. QIDI Box
This enables automatic multi-material or 4-fold multicolor printing.
Why Q2 & Q2C are not ordinary hobby printers
While typical consumer printers often fall short due to heat, stability, or material compatibility, the Q2 and Q2C offer:
- CoreXY system with linear rails and 1.5GT belts → precise, repeatable components
- Direct drive extruder with hardened steel gears → ideal for flexible and technical materials
- Heated chamber (Q2 active up to 65 °C / Q2C passive & moderate) → suitable for ABS, ASA, PC, PA
- Optional multi-material function via QIDI Box
- Zero-offset auto-bed leveling via the nozzle contact
- AI camera + 3-in-1 filter system → safe, clean work even indoors
This makes these devices significantly closer to semi-professional models than to classic "entry-level printers".
